Simply take a right out of the drive and walk along the lane, taking the first left at Little Trelyn and here you can join the footpath and stroll through fields to Porthilly Beach in fifteen minutes. From here you can walk along the sand to Rock Beach at low tide or head up to take the Rock Road route at high tide.

Surfing at Polzeath

Only a 10 minute drive away is Polzeath beach where you can rent a surf board, book a surf lesson or just sit on the beach and soak up the vibrant atmosphere.  Plenty of shops and eateries - our favourite coffee spot is at The Tube Station on the hill - the surfer's church - best coffee and cakes!

Daymer Bay

Surfing at Polzeath

Daymer Bay

Only 5 minutes away down Daymer Lane is Daymer Bay.  Perfect for swimming as no big waves especially if you have little ones.  Ideal to sit and watch the windsurfers and kitesurfers on the water and all the dogs racing around the beach!  Take a stroll up in the sand dunes to St Enedoc's Church to see where Sir John Betjeman is buried.

Lundy Bay

Surfing at Polzeath

Daymer Bay

Lundy Bay is hidden away around the headland only accessible via the costal footpath and perfect for a warm day.  There are no facilities so take a picnic, best to visit when the tide is out.
